I am almost finished with
I am almost finished with Barbara Kingsolver's, Prodigal Summer and can't wait to discuss it. It is very rich with character development and lots of interesting science with beautifully written descriptions of life in the Appalacia mountains.
I hope to attend many of the upcoming discussions.

I agree with you that the book is very interesting with many layers of meanings and diverse characters in the story. Barbara Kingsolver is one of my favorite authors. We'll look forward to discussing the book with you :-)
I am disappointed, but I
I am disappointed, but I don't think I will be there today. I have been getting over a nasty cold, and am afraid that if I came I would be sharing more than just my thoughts on the book. Maybe I could sit in the back and hold my breath. I'll be finishing "Solace" and wishing I was there...
