Ada Community Library 24/7 Express Pickup Service – Available in 2 locations
Now that our Lake Hazel Branch Library is open Monday through Saturday, we have moved our 24/7 Express Pickup lockers to Hidden Springs where our branch is closed on weekends. We hope the convenient 24/7 access to materials will be helpful to you.
The 24/7 Express Pickup Service locations are:
- Star Hope Lutheran Church off Linder and State
- Outside the Hidden Springs Branch Library at 5849 W Hidden Springs Dr
How does it work?
An Ada Community Library card or card from another LYNX! consortium library is necessary for this service. Place a reserve online for desired library materials (or call the library for assistance) and we'll deliver to a secure locker at your preferred 24/7 Express Pickup site. You will be notified by phone or email when the items are ready for pick up. Items may be picked up any time/any day but are already checked out so they should be picked up at your earliest convenience. Items will be removed from the locker and returned to their owning library if not picked up after five days.
How do I get my items from the locker?
After you've been notified that your items are ready to pick up at the Express lockers, just enter the last six (6) digits of your library card number and the locker(s) that contain your item(s) will open automatically.
How do I reserve items online?
- Search our online catalog www.adalib.org for the item(s) you want.
- When you have found an item in the catalog, click on the title. The new screen should have a column labeled “Item Information” on the right and an area labeled “Copy/Holding Information” at the bottom
- Just above and to the right of “Copy/Holding Information” is a button for “Place Hold on First Available Copy” - click on that
- Enter your library card and the last four digits of your phone number
- Beside “Select a location for pickup,” be sure to use the drop down menu and choose either “Hidden Springs Branch 24/7 Express Pickup” or “Star Branch - Hope Lutheran Church 24/7 Express Pickup”
- Click on request
- Repeat for each item you are interested in
