Free Online Tutoring!

We’re really excited to announce that we have a new service: Live Homework Help. It is available through our website every day from 3-11pm. It can be accessed from within the library without a library card, or from home with an ACL library card. Students K-12, College Intro, and Adult Learners will be able to connect to live one-on-one professional tutoring in a variety of subjects. It’s also available in Spanish. For more info about the tutors or the company follow these links:

We are the first library in Idaho to offer this service and we’re really excited about this easy to use, relevant service.

Live Homework Help is offered through a “Strengthening Library Service for Youth in Idaho” grant funded by the Wal-Mart Foundation and administered by the Idaho Commission for Libraries. Special thanks goes to First Lady Lori Otter, the Idaho Library Association and the Idaho Community Foundation for their support.

Hi Treila, The library has

Hi Treila, The library has many resources that will help you get ready to go back to school. In addition to the Live Homework Help (hope you have tried it!), we also have a database called Learning Express. It has interactive practice tests and tutorial courses to help you succeed on academic and licensing tests. Immediate scoring, complete answer explanations, and individual analysis. Study for GED, SAT, ACT, TOEFL, nursing, firefighter, military, and real estate tests, and work on math, reading, writing and computer skills. Look for it under RESOURCES , then EDUCATION AND CAREERS.  Give us a call or come in if you have other questions about tutoring help.
