Star WaitersTwelve-year-old Mitch Kohler of Boise had always wanted to be in a Star Wars movie! His Make-A-Wish wish came true when, for eight months, Mitch and a large group of phenomenal volunteers worked hard to write, produce and premier a spoof on Star Wars, called Star Waiters. See this family-friendly hilarious 35-minute movie, with characters such as Luke PieWalker, Pretzel Leia and Darth Waiter, at a screening on June 12th from 1:30-3:00pm.

This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity gave Mitch a chance to learn the world of movie production and made him a “star” as he took on the lead role of Luke PieWalker. An entire community came together to make Mitch’s wish come true and the movie received, among its honors, the 2009 Infinite Wish Award from the National Make-A-Wish Foundation of America. Join some of the production team, including Academy Award winning filmmaker Ben Shedd, for this screening. Visit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Idaho for more information about this project and may the fork be with you!
