BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The Ada Community Library Board of Trustees held its monthly board meeting May 18, 2010 at the Main Branch Library. Board members present were Anita Lochner, Jason Meyers ,Carol Mills, Julie Oberle, and Steven Ricks. Staff members present were Mary DeWalt, Martha Beller and Terri Wear

1. MONTHLY MEETING OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES IS CALLED TO ORDER.
   Carol Mills called the meeting to order at 4:04pm.
2. CONSENT AGENDA
1. Changes or additions to the agenda:
2. The minutes of the April 2010 monthly meeting were presented.
3. The Financial statements for April 2010 were presented.
   Steven Ricks moved to accept the minutes and financial statements, Julie Oberle seconded, the motion carried.
3. DIRECTOR’S REPORT, CORRESPONDENCE AND PUBLIC COMMENT
   No report.
4. REPORTS FROM DEPARTMENT HEADS
   YS quarterly report briefly discussed.
5. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
1. Branch Status
   Negotiations are ongoing
2. Interlibrary Loan Policy Update
   After a brief discussion, Julie Oberle moved to accept the policy, Anita Lochner seconded, the motion carried.
6. NEW BUSINESS
1. Volunteer Policy Update
   The board discussed the revision and made changes. Steven Ricks moved to approve the policy as revised, Julie Oberle seconded, the motion carried.
2. Patron Rights and Responsibilities Policy Modification
   The board briefly discussed the policy and made other revisions. The policy will be resubmitted for approval at the next monthly meeting.
7. DATE OF NEXT MEETING AND ADJOURNMENT
   The next monthly meeting will be held at the Hidden Spring Branch on June 15th, 2010 at 4:00pm Julie Oberle moved to adjourn the meeting, Jason Meyers seconded, the meeting adjourned at 5:08 pm.
