Thanks for all your comments on the Library, its vibrancy and occasional loudness. Today's library is much more lively than libraries of the past. But hopefully you'll agree that the libraries today offer so much more. We have over 900 people visiting the library (at Victory & Five Mile) on any one day. It is difficult for that many people to be quiet! And our staff loves their work and helping patrons. You will notice our Patron Rights and Responsibilities policy posted near the front door. It indicates that excessive cell phone ringing or loud conversations are not allowed. If a cell phone rings, we ask that the person answer it and then move to the patio or front entrance to continue their conversation.
Also, the Unlock the Secrets of the Library's Online Resources class still has openings on Thursday evening, so sign up soon. The Wednesday class is no longer available.
