Why is it a pick?

Jan Brett’s picture books are always wonderful and this one is no exception. The Three Little Dassies retells the story of the “The Three Little Pigs” only this time the pigs are dassies (guinea pig-like creatures),the wolf is an eagle and the whole story takes place in South Africa. Brett’s wonderfully intricate drawings are made even better by the outfits each one of the animals wears.
