Clare Nelson, a senior at Boise High and a Hidden Springs resident, will delight listeners with an author's reading of her book, Don't Stare.

Come to a neighborhood block party with the highlight event being Bubble soccer! Micron Technology will provide family engineering activities and the library will provide STEM activities with stations for building with LEGOS, laser pegs, Magformers, K'nex, space sand, KEVA blocks and robotics.  Fun for the entire family including music, food trucks and prize giveaways!

Join us as we kick off a new program for kids - Dog Tales.  Kids can sign up to read to, Buckeye the Labrodoodle, a friendly registered therapy dog in 10 minute sessions. Therapy dogs provide a low-stress and comfortable reading environment to kids to help improve their reading skills. Open to all ages. This program will continue in the fall two times per month on a Monday and a Wednesday.
