Human Library
Human Library

The Human Library™ is designed to build a positive framework for conversations that can challenge stereotypes and prejudices through dialogue. The Human Library is a place where real people are on loan to readers. A place where difficult questions are expected, appreciated and answered. Books are on loan for 20-30 minutes sessions.

This year's Human Library is taking place during Mental Health Awareness month, on Saturday, May 19th, 1-5 pm at Storey Park in Meridian. This event will be in conjunction with the Indigo Idaho Art Fest. We are seeking books of all kinds who have experienced a stigma, stereotype or prejudice.

Your volunteering will consist of one (1) two-hour training session with coaches in April as well as the 4-hour event on Saturday, May 19th. Interested in telling your story? Please fill out the application form and we will contact you with further information.
