Why is this a pick?: This hilarious send-up from the Monty Python crew is so outrageous you can't help but laugh. Terry Gilliam, Terry Jones, John Cleese, Eric Idle, and Michael Palin portray King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they search for the Holy Grail, on 'horseback'. They'll encounter ferocious beasts disguised as white rabbits, fearsome knights who refuse to surrender defeat, unruly peasants, and a castle of truly absurd Frenchmen. They'll also have numerous intense debates, such as: how to tell if someone's a witch, where to find a shrubbery, and the migratory patterns of swallows (both African and European). |
