Humanity has been devoured by the gigantic humanoid Titans, all except a last bastion city protected by a wall that reaches to the sky. Eren and his family have lived in safety in this community their whole lives, but everything is suddenly threatened when a Titan taller than the wall itself appears. Unsettling and heavily character-driven, this manga series is a must-read.

This hilarious novel follows the exploits of medical/stealth professional Dr. McNinja as he fights the likes of super-radical mob boss King Radical, an Aztec tennis god of destruction (and tennis), and a mind-possessing rainbow motorcycle. Why is this a pick?:
In this mind-bending sci-fi, a man finds out he is really an “electric ant”, or a cyborg made to think he’s a human. Upon investigating, he finds a way to alter or change his perception of the world; but is he only changing his perception or is he actually changing reality itself? On par with any Ray Bradbury or other classic sci-fi story, this book will leave you scratching your head. In a good way!
