How to Sign Up:

• Step One: Come to the library and pick up a Summer Reading Entry Sheet. Or download and print a Summer Reading Entry Sheet. (Requires free Adobe Reader [1].)

• Step Two: Mark off a picture and write in the date on your Summer Reading Entry Sheet for every day you've read or been read to for twenty minutes or more.
• Step Three: COME GET YOUR PRIZES after 10, 20, and 30 days!
  The last day to record your reading for the Summer Reading Program is July 31st.

Prizes:

• 10 Days: Free Goldfish Coupon, Stampede Rodeo Ticket and your choice of Candy, a Sticker or a Tattoo
  
• 20 Days: Free Kids Meal, Boise Hawks Baseball Ticket and a Cool Toy
• 30 Days: Free Book, Free Kids Meal and your choice of or a Discovery Center Ticket or a Powell's Ice Cream
  While prize quantities last. The last day to pick up prizes is August 7th.

Frequently Asked Questions:

• What if I read four hours in one day? Can I mark off 12 boxes?
• Good job! But you can still only mark off one box per day, no matter how much reading you do.
• Do audio books, magazines, newspapers and comics count?
• Any of those activities count for the Summer Reading Program. In fact, anything that involves reading does!
• What if I go out of town?
• Keep track of your reading! You can still pick up your prizes when you get back. (As long as you do so before August 7th.)
  
• What if I read more than 30 days?
• Come to the library and ask about our special bonus prize!
• Can I participate in Summer Reading Programs at more than one library? For instance, could I do the Summer Reading Program at both Ada Community Library and Boise Public Library?
• You should choose only one library's Summer Reading Program. This will help us ensure there are enough prizes for everyone. For information about other Summer Reading Programs in the Treasure Valley visit Idaho Kids Read [2].
