
Love hockey? Love reading? Children ages 5-13 can participate in the Idaho Steelheads Reading Program this Winter! Children can register to earn tickets to Idaho Steelheads games, an Idaho Steelheads cap, and even an invitation to skate with the Steelheads at Qwest Arena. The program runs until February 20th, so you've got until then to get in the game and score your goals!
Pick up a form at any Ada Community Library location. Prizes can be earned for any of the following three goals. Each participant can only earn one set of prizes.
- Goal 1: Visit the public library and check out a book.
- Score: One ticket good for any weekday or Sunday Steelhead's game.
- Goal 2: Read with a family member for 20 minutes for seven days.
- Score: One ticket good for any weekday or Sunday Steelhead's game.
- Goal 3: Read about the Idaho Steelheads at their website (www.idahosteelheads.com [1]) and write an essay about what you learned. You must complete Goals 1 and 2 before you can earn this prize.
- Score: Steelheads cap and an invitation to skate with the Steelheads at Qwest Arena.
