This book is one that adults will enjoy reading or re-reading but it is also one the entire family can enjoy together. Check out the book (available in many formats) and enjoy a variety of events and activities between now and March 15.

Pixie Chicks' Writers' Share

Come for a fun evening of talking, reading, sharing and cookies! The Pixie Chicks range from new writers to seasoned pros. They will share their stories of the joys and tribulations of the writer's life.
Winter Book Sale

Friends of Ada Community Library, Victory Branch will hold their winter book sale Friday, January 6 and Saturday, January 7, 2012. The sale will be held in the bottom floor of the library, located at the corner of Victory and Five Mile Roads in Boise.
Most items at the sale will cost $.50 or $1.00. Donations for the sale are always accepted. For questions, or more information on the Friends group, contact the Reference Desk at the Library, 362-0181 ext.6.
Sale hours are 9:30am until 6:00pm on Friday and 11:00am until 6:00pm on Saturday. Remaining books and media will sell for $5.00 per sack on Saturday after 4:00pm. Proceeds from the sale will help fund library programs and events.
