U.S. Geology & 19th Century Settlement

LocomotiveOn Thursday, May 6 from 7:00-8:30pm as part of Idaho Archaeology and Historic Preservation Month, Ada Community Library is pleased to present a free program "U.S. Geology & 19th Century Settlement" by author Dr. Terry Maley. Using historic images, he will discuss the idea of the mapping and development of the U.S. being influenced by geological features, including the building of the railroad and irrigation systems as well as transportation routes.

Food for Fines for National Library Week!

Please help us help you (patron with a fine) and the hungry people in our community by participating in our “Food for Fines” food drive during National Library Week, April 11 – 17th. Please bring in cans or boxes of nonperishable food to put in our Idaho Food Bank barrels and we will waive your overdue fines up to a limit of $10. Thanks for participating in this fun and useful event and Happy National Library Week!
