On Thursday, May 6 from 7:00-8:30pm as part of Idaho Archaeology and Historic Preservation Month, Ada Community Library is pleased to present a free program "U.S. Geology & 19th Century Settlement" by author Dr. Terry Maley. Using historic images, he will discuss the idea of the mapping and development of the U.S. being influenced by geological features, including the building of the railroad and irrigation systems as well as transportation routes.
