This book is about a young girl, Kira, who finds out that she is much more than what every one thinks. It all started when her friends hypnotized her and asked her to tell them something they didn't know. They thought she was just going to spill a secret crush, but she revealed a part of her hidden past that she didn't even know! Later on she finds out that her mom has been kidnapped and a woman claiming to be her "Aunt Memory" takes her to a land called Crythe. In time she finds that her parents had been killed long ago in a war, and that the woman that had raised her all these years was her aunt! Then her so called Aunt Memory writes a speech for her to announce in front of the people of Crythe. During the speech she neglects to follow her Aunt Memory's speech and continues to tell them what had happened to her and her mom. After the speech her Aunt Memory takes her to a cellar in the ba(filtered)t. Here she finds her mother curled up on the ground. She wasn't kidnapped, she was being held prisoner by Aunt Memory!
