"Just Listen" is a great book. It’s about this girl named Annabel who got in a fight with her best friend Sophie over Annabel's boyfriend. So now Annabel has no friends because all of her friends hangout with her ex-best friend Sophie. One day Annabel meets this kid named Owen Armstrong. Many of the other students don’t like him or are afraid of him. He is a different kid and doesn’t really hang out with anyone. Owen is obsessed with music and he always tells the truth....no matter how much trouble he gets into.
Annabel and Owen become really close friends, and eventually they kind of start dating. Being friends with Owen makes Annabel realize that no matter what has happened in your past, you can always make new friends.
Then one day they get in a really big fight and stop talking to each other. So then once again Annabel has no friends and just starts hanging out by herself. Once again, she is alone. Will she be able to trust anyone again?
I would recommend this book because it was really good and it’s about things that can actually happen in real life.
