This book is about Hamid and his little sister, Kinza. When his mother tells him to bring his blind sister Kinza to a Christian nurse, he does, and it changes his life. This nurse tells him about Jesus, and through the months he learns more. And then there is Jenny, the girl who loves Kinza, but is missing something. After rescuing Kinza from her mean stepfather, Hamid sets out to learn how to read and retuns to his village to tell his mother more about Jesus.
