Teen Volunteer Program

Ever wonder what it would be like to work at the library? Teen Volunteers help us in a variety of ways, including updating patron resources, cleaning books and toys, and assisting with programs such as Summer Reading.

  • How do I volunteer?
  • How old do I have to be?
    • Teens between the ages of 13-18. Twelve-year-olds can volunteer the summer following sixth grade.
  • What will I do when I volunteer?
    • Teen Volunteers help us in a variety of ways, including updating patron resources, cleaning books and toys, and assisting with programs such as Summer Reading.
  • When can I volunteer?
    • Let us know what days and times you can volunteer, and we will schedule you after school, on weekends -- whenever you can help! Teen Volunteers are scheduled for one to two hours a week.
  • Why would I want to volunteer?
    • There are many benefits to volunteering with the Ada Community Library, such as:
      • Gain work experience
      • Serve your community
      • Make new friends and be of service to others
      • Fulfill school or scout requirements
