Get the new library app: Ida

The library has a brand new mobile app, now available for iOS and Android! If you have an Ada Community Library card (or a card with any of the other Lynx Consortium libraries listed below), you can now use Ida - an Idaho library app, to search the catalog, place holds, manage your account, check out books using your phone, and more!

Forgot your library card? No problem! The app stores your card barcode for easy scanning. Trying to manage holds and checkouts on multiple family cards? Now you can just link all your family accounts in the app and manage them all in one place. Available features will vary by library, so download Ida today and see how it can level up your library game!

Ida does not replace the Libby app, which you will still use to access ebooks, audiobooks and magazines in the Overdrive collection, but Ida does replace the previous consortium library app called Lynx Libraries.

Ida is the mobile app for the LYNX! Consortium, a partnership between twelve public libraries in southern Idaho sharing the cost of technology and services to improve access and make library users’ experience more seamless and enjoyable. Consortium libraries include: Ada Community Library, Boise Public Library, Caldwell Public Library, Eagle Public Library, Emmett Public Library, Garden City Public Library, Hailey Public Library, Kuna Library District, Meridian Library District, Mountain Home Public Library, Nampa Public Library, and Twin Falls Public Library.
