Idaho Code 74-204(4) requires any agenda item to be voted on to be designated as an "action item". Due to a miscommunication, this was not done for the March 21, 2023 meeting and went unnoticed until recently. Under Idaho Code 74-208(1), any action taken that fails to comply with that requirement is, by operation of law, null and void. The Board acknowledges the error and reiterates that those votes are ineffective and the books discussed will remain in the library's collection.

The Ada Community Library Board of Trustees held its monthly board meeting on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Board members present were Carol Mills, Steven Ricks, Amy Fife, and Sandy Taylor. Staff members present were Mary DeWalt and Alex Hartman.
