Memory Connections Resource Center
The Memory Connections Resource Center, located inside the Victory Branch, is a specially curated collection of materials to support those living with Alzheimer's Disease and related dementias, as well as their caregivers and families. The collection includes books, DVDs, hands-on materials, electronics, and hand-outs about caregiving and memory loss; materials have a special identifying sticker on the spine or on the front.

Bright by Text is a free texting program for parents and caregivers of ages 0-8 that delivers 3-5 developmentally appropriate, high quality early learning tips every week. Offered in English and Spanish, messages are catered to the age of the child. Messages include easy learning tips and activities for busy parents, reminders about health checkups, and more – all from high quality sources. 1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Did you know reading to your baby or young child can give them the building blocks for lifelong success? Accept the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten challenge, a simple and fun approach to building strong literacy skills in your child. By reading just one book a day, your child can earn rewards throughout the program at various levels and finish the program in under three years. This program is open to all children between the ages of zero to five years. Visit your library branch to register and pick up a paper log.

Idaho Talking Book Service (TBS)
The Idaho Talking Book Service (TBS) is an audiobook library service that is convenient and available at no cost to any Idaho resident who is blind, has a perceptual or reading disability, or is unable to read standard print due to a visual impairment or physical disability. The TBS materials are delivered directly to the user’s residence by the USPS and/or may be downloaded to a computer or device. There are more than 100,000 titles in the collection in a wide variety of genres. There is also a selection of locally recorded books and magazines about Idaho and the Northwest.
